The RS-485 Interface Cable provides a simple and reliable way to control the PTU from a host computer or external controller using industry-standard RS-485 serial communication. Designed to work seamlessly with the PTU breakout cable, this accessory enables robust, long-distance serial control in electrically noisy environments.
Simple, Flexible Connectivity
The RS-485 cable connects directly to the RS-485 connector on the PTU breakout cable and interfaces with your control system through one of the following methods:
- USB-to-RS-485 connection using the optional PTU-CONV-USB-RS485 cable for direct connection to a host PC
- Both options allow control commands to be sent from virtually any computer or controller.
